Kevin Brown was laid off from his job as a warehouse manager. Instead of worrying about what he was going to do - he had a plan.
Brown wrote the script for the film Unexpected last year. The loss of his job made him decide to buy a camera and start production of the film. He found a local cast and crew and is currently working on the film.
More and more we tend to read about the bad news; the economy, the cost of living, bankruptcy, crime, etc. It's refreshing to hear that someone, especially some LOCAL, took the lemons he was given and is making lemonade. (pardon the cliche)
The entire film will be shot on location in Polk County. Be sure to watch for places and people you might recognize. Kevin expects to release the independent film to film festivals by the end of this year.
