Old Photo Request

This may seem like a strange request, but here goes:

The SPCA of Lakeland, Florida began as a small venture, with pets being adopted from the Lake Miriam Plaza on South Florida Avenue in 1979. It wasn't until 1990 that the current shelter land was donated and the shelter was built in 1991.

The SPCA is celebrating their 30th birthday this year. I would like to commemorate the event with some old photos from 1979/1980 when they were adopting animals from the Lake Miriam Publix Plaza parking lot. But here's the thing: All the photos from that time have been lost!

Please, if you or anyone you know may have adopted an animal from the SPCA in 1979 or 1980, and you have photographs of the SPCA adoption process, your pet being adopted, you and/or your pet shortly after adoption, please let me know. I would like to scan these old photos and enlarge them to display at the SPCA's 30th birthday bash to be held on September 12, 2009 at the SPCA. It would be awesome to get some pictures of them set up in the Publix parking lot back then, but any 1979 era SPCA related pictures will do.

Thank you so much!

Old Cartoons

I don't know about you, but I miss the old cartoons. I'm not into this new stuff on tv. Hope you enjoy!
